Discover GALILEO – a new way to search

Your fast, easy, comprehensive searching tool has arrived. On October 1, 2012 Discover GALILEO, a powerful new way to search and retrieve content from GALILEO’s hundred+ databases, digital collections, and beyond, including print materials found only in library collections became available for all users of the Clayton State community.  Discover GALILEO provides a single search of multiple resources, combining the ease and speed of a popular Internet search engine with the quality and organization of content that only a library can provide. This new searching service offers a comprehensive set of research tools, including a personal research folder that allows users to easily save, cite, retrieve, and link to content. Users can also sort, limit and customize results to meet an informational need. Additional functionality and content will be made available in the coming months.

Celebrate the launch of Discover GALILEO  by entering the “What I Discovered Today” contest during the month of October. Daily and weekly prizes will be awarded to GALILEO users for sharing their search experiences. http://about.galileo.usg.edu/discover_contest
