New Resource: Literature Criticism Online

We recently added Literature Criticism Online to our collection of electronic resources. This resource is primarily used for literature research but can be useful for history, philosophy, political science and other humanities topics.

Literature Criticism Online offers collections of essays, commentary, criticism and biographical information related to literature, history and culture representing a range of modern and historical views on authors and their works across regions, eras and genres.

This online subscription includes full archives of the following series:

Users have a choice of search options to broaden or narrow searches:

Keyword searches for a match within the author’s name, work title, literary topic, essay titles, critic or section headers
Full-Text searches for a match within the entire text for a comprehensive results set
Named Author searches for a match about a specific author and his or her works
Named Work searches for information about a specific work

Users also have the flexibility of browsing by authors, works or topics. Sample topics to explore:
